John Sisk & Son in the UK announces increased turnover and highlights strong order book as outlook for 2011 remains positive
John Sisk & Son, the UK operating arm of one of the largest construction-based groups in the UK and Ireland, has today reported strong year on year turnover growth in its annual results for the year ending December 2010.
Turnover has increased to £278m from £161m the previous year, driven by a strategy of leveraging SISK Group capability and resources in sectors such as civil engineering and energy whilst continuing to invest in traditional core areas of expertise.

John Sisk & Son (Sisk), one of the largest construction groups in the UK and Ireland, has made two senior appointments at its recently opened Glasgow office.
Sisk opened its Glasgow office in June to serve the Scotland region and is working on contracts to the value of £30m including the recently completed citizenM modular-built hotel in Glasgow.
